The IRS has distributed information regarding the possible revocation of the exempt status of organizations who have not complied with the requirement to file annual tax returns for all non-profit organizations. Organizations who have not complied with these regulations could have their exempt status revoked and, as a result, would not be eligible to receive funding from most government, private and corporate funders, regardless of prior funding.
