Annual Auction
Overview
"Fall Harvest for the Homeless" is an annual silent/live auction designed to celebrate and raise support for the work of PCCH. This year's theme is "A World of Support." The auction will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m., at the Synovus Bank, located at 333 Third Ave. N., in St. Petersburg. Event highlights will include celebrity MC Tammie Fields, the MoBetta Band, international cuisine, and wine, beer and soft drinks. Of course, there will be scores of exquisitely wrapped gift baskets on which to bid. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Individuals, organizations and businesses may complete the sponsor forms online or contact the PCCH office to request forms and more information.
The proceeds from this event help to fund various outreach activities of PCCH including Cold Night Shelter, Project Homeless Connect, bus passes and more.
This year's event will be preceeded by a pre-auction business mixer to be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at A Taste for Wine, 241 Central Avenue, in St. Petersburg. This premier networking event for the county's most progressive business, civic and political leaders will highlight: jazz piano by Kevin Wilder, hors d'oeuvres by Chef Fox, a cash bar, and a drawing for a Dew Cadillac weekend test drive.
