Training Description (Teams Webinar)
This annual refresher is for current HMIS users who work in an Entry/Exit program.
We’ll focus on the issues and data quality trends we’ve seen throughout 2026, including household management, Interim Updates, exits and destinations, HUD Verifications, preserving historical information, ROI requirements, and completing the full assessment.
This is a refresher for existing HMIS users and does not replace the Entry/Exit training required for new users.
All required Annual HMIS Refresher Training must be completed by November 13, 2026, to maintain HMIS access.
Housekeeping & Participation Requirements
Please join from a computer or device where you can actively participate in the training.
Cameras are encouraged, but not required.
Please plan to attend the entire session. Late arrivals or early departures may not receive credit for completing the refresher.
Participation is required. We’ll be working through real HMIS scenarios and asking questions throughout the session.
Please limit distractions and avoid completing HMIS data entry or other work during the training.
Each participant must register and attend individually so we can accurately track completion.
Please register only for the refresher(s) that match your current HMIS workflow. Users who work in more than one workflow may be required to complete more than one refresher.
